Beautiful Blanco
It’s our pleasure to share our beloved hometown with you, and we truly hope you enjoy it as much as we do. There are so many things to do in and around Blanco, from visiting the famous Real Ale Brewery along with numerous nearby distilleries and wineries, to enjoying the shops and restaurants on our historic Square, and so much more.
Our Square is about 50 miles from the Alamo in San Antonio, and 50 miles from the Capitol in Austin, offering easy access to the best of Texas!
The Legend of Betty B
Betty B was the consummate “old-school” Texas Hill Country hostess. The sturdy, spirited matron of a prominent local family, back in the day she was known far and wide for her warm hospitality, thoughtful generosity, and genuine concern for her guests, whom she always considered to be family friends.
While Betty is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the culture of this town she loved and served. Look closely, and you’ll still catch glimpses of her in the smiling faces, gracious service, laid-back-but-proper people, and high standards that define Blanco today. We hope you experience that same spirit here in our humble home.

“It was perfect … Immaculate … The hosts thought of everything, including snacks in the kitchen, wine in the fridge, extra toiletries in the bathroom, which gratefully included toothbrushes, because I forgot mine!” – Online review from Tamra P.
